Room Parents is open to all parents and guardians of Rock Port Elementary students. If you would like to get involved, please attend the next meeting or contact an officer to volunteer for one of the following committees.

The Teacher Appreciation Committee organizes food to be taken to the workroom for the teachers during first quarter parent/teacher conferences and in the spring during “Teacher Appreciation Week.” These parents organize these special events to honor our teachers and all the work they do for our children.
This committee organizes an elementary-wide party to be held as an alternative to the traditional Halloween Party.
The Field Day committee organizes the field day activities held in the spring for all students in grade K-2.
The Bake Sale Committee organizes the semi-annual bake sale, which is held during football homecoming.
As a service, Room Parents provides elementary parents with the opportunity to buy an economical package with all the required supplies for each grade.
Room parents sells an item each February that parents can purchase and have delivered to their child at school on Valentine's Day.
The duties of this committee are to review checking and savings account records.
Through leadership, dedication, innovation, and community partnership,
we will provide opportunities for all students to maximize their potential
and become caring, moral, productive, and self-reliant citizens.
